terms of use

Last updated: 25 June 2025
Welcome to the website of Andrew Byrnes Law Group Pty Ltd (ABN 29 637 096 961). By accessing or using this website, you agree to be bound by the following Terms of Use. If you do not agree with these terms, you must not use this website or any of our online legal services.
1. About Us
Andrew Byrnes Law Group is a legal practice based in the Australian Capital Territory. References to "we", "our" or "us" refer to Andrew Byrnes Law Group Pty Ltd, including our officers, agents, and successors.
2. Acceptance of Terms
By using this site or ordering any of our online legal services, you acknowledge that:
- You have read, understood, and accepted these Terms of Use;
- You are legally capable of entering into binding agreements;
- You are solely responsible for ensuring our services meet your specific needs.
3. Provision of Online Legal Services
Our online legal services are conditional on:
- Your acceptance of these Terms;
- Full payment of fees via our online system at the time of order;
- Your compliance with all instructions and disclosures throughout the service.
Documents delivered will be sent electronically to the email address you provide.
4. Legal Advice Disclaimer
While we are a registered law firm and can provide legal advice, you acknowledge that:
- The services ordered may not be appropriate for your individual circumstances;
- We are not responsible for the consequences of your document use unless you have received specific legal advice from us;
- Any legal document generated is based solely on the answers you provide;
- We do not provide tax, accounting, financial planning, or commercial advice.
You must seek independent professional advice where necessary.
5. Payment, Fees, and Trust Account
When you make a transaction via our website, a portion of your payment is applied to processing and payment fees, which are handled by Stripe - a secure online payment platform. These fees currently include 1.75% of the transaction amount plus $0.30.
By proceeding with the transaction, you:
- Authorise the payment of applicable processing fees at the point of sale;
- Acknowledge that your payment details may be securely transmitted to Stripe for processing.
Once payment is made:
- The net amount (after processing fees) is deposited into Andrew Byrnes Law Group’s Law Practice Trust Account;
- After the Online Legal Service is delivered, an invoice for the balance held in trust (less fees) will be issued to you by email.
Unless you raise an objection in writing, we may withdraw the invoiced amount from our trust account no earlier than 7 days after the service has been provided.
If you are a high-volume user, we may — at our sole discretion — offer invoice-based billing rather than requiring immediate online payment. In this case:
- A tax invoice for our service fees will be sent electronically at the time of order. Payment is required within 7 days.
- If your order includes third-party charges (e.g., ASIC or IP Australia government fees), we will issue a separate invoice for these amounts, which must be paid within 24 hours.
Failure to pay invoices on time may result in any or all of the following:
- Ending the invoice-based arrangement, requiring future payments via credit card;
- Redirecting any payments received to settle outstanding balances at our discretion;
- Restricting your access to previously ordered document packages;
- Charging default interest on overdue amounts.
These processes ensure we meet our obligations under Australian legal trust accounting rules while offering convenience and transparency to our clients.

We collect, use, and disclose Personal Information as per our Privacy Policy. You agree to the use of your data for:
